Is Fasting Well free?

Yes — the timer, journal, stages, charts, achievements, and Health Connect / HealthKit integration are all free. A Pro tier is coming with advanced analytics and unlimited custom plans, but the core experience stays free forever.

How is this different from Zero?

Cleaner UI, no aggressive paywall, full privacy (your data stays on your phone), and shorter fast presets (we include 13:11 — Zero doesn't). Plus iOS Live Activities and home-screen widgets on day one.

Does it work offline?

Completely. The app reads and writes to your device only. Optional anonymous usage analytics can be turned off in Settings.

Will my data be sold or shared?

No. Fasts, weights, and notes never leave your phone. We use PostHog for anonymous, aggregate product analytics (which you can disable). Read the full privacy policy below.

Does it sync with Apple Health / Health Connect?

Yes. Weight syncs from Apple Health (iOS) and Health Connect (Android). On iOS, completed fasts can optionally be written as Mindful Minutes.
